Typically, when considering "mobile" services, house visits are the first that come to mind. However, my clinic-on-wheels operates differently. I will travel to various counties in Oregon and set up at a designated location for a day or two before moving on to the next town. Clear methods for scheduling your visit will be provided in advance, ensuring you know exactly when to show up on site. This way, we can maintain an organized and efficient service while bringing dental hygiene care directly to your community. When I am not doing outreach services, appointments can be scheduled and you would come to the clinic at The Cloud on Seven, just as you would with any given dental office.

Initial evaluation of your gingival health and assessing the next steps in restoring oral health. This includes x-rays for triage and referral to a dentist as needed, assessment of bone levels and gum health and any other contributing factors $50

This is a good ol’ fashioned teeth cleaning! Combination use of ultrasonic and hand instrument scaling, floss and a polish finish. Fluoride treatment to finish (if desired) $110

This therapeutic procedure includes the removal of plaque and tartar above and below the gumline, often using the ultrasonic scaler to remove heavier build up. Typically for these patients, 3-4 cleanings in a year is necessary to maintain optimal oral health- I price this the same as a regular ol’ cleaning though!! $110

Cleaning for the kiddo! Ideally we can take x-rays, clean and eval the teeth, includes fluoride treatment if so desired, and a referral to dentist if necessary. $75

Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) is a topical medication used to prevent and treat dental caries, as well as relieve hypersensitivity. This can slow down the progression of decay and potentially avoid the need for fillings. $30 per tooth

Bruxism, or teeth grinding, is a common problem, especially during sleep. It can cause damage to teeth that can lead to wear, chipping, or even fractures. Night guards can also relieve TMJ discomfort and chronic headaches. Getting a custom night guard or bleach trays is/are easy and requires taking simple impressions for fabrication. $95 per arch

This treatment method is a great non-invasive option for gum disease that uses a low concentration of hydrogen peroxide to fight bacteria. “Perio Gel” is placed in custom-fit trays that deliver medication deep under the gums to minimize bad bacteria and reduce the need for repeat periodontal scaling.

The Insurance Conundrum
*Oregon has 16 Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) that each operate like a separate insurance network of OHP benefits in their own areas. They’re set up at the county level and have different contracting, credentialing, claims, and contractual obligations. This does not include all the other big insurance companies. To get credentialed with every company would be administratively heavy to put it lightly.
*More importantly, by not billing insurance, it allows me to provide individualized treatment recommendations (and lower costs) based on what’s truly best for your oral health, not on what a plan covers. Stepping outside that system, I can keep things simple, honest, and focused entirely on patient care. No middlemen, no restrictions, just the freedom to do what’s right.
*I’m happy to provide a detailed invoice (superbill) so you can submit it to your insurance for reimbursement. Many of my patients receive at least partial coverage this way. If you’d like to know more or want examples of how not taking insurance benefits my patients, I’m more than happy to explain further.
